Circus McGurkus Chair!
For my internship, I've volunteered to decorate a chair for the end of the year musical production. The school is doing "Suessical the Musical" so I'm decorating my chair as "Circus McGurkus" from the book If I Ran the Circus. I'm definitely a Dr. Seuss fan so participating and helping out with this musical is definitely more fun than it is work.
Today was the day I got to take home my red chair to begin working on it at home. I've just began sketching out my plans and ideas, but I still have yet to get the supplies and begin decorating. I don't want to start anything until I know for sure it's going to be awesome.
Being an intern, it is important to always do everything to the very best of my ability and always prove that I am a hard worker and dedicated to the job. I'm hoping my chair will be a reflection of my creative, fun side.
I'm excited to begin decorating the chair and we'll see how it turns out!
