Thanks dad for teaching me such a delicious recipe. :)Tonight I made homemade Strawberry Shortcake for my roommates and me for dessert. Not to toot my own horn, but I must say that it was delicious.
I cook dinner fairly often, but never really make dessert. Well, aside from baking...but that's normally an afternoon-ish snack. I whipped up some dough, cut up fresh strawberries, and scooped up some Cool Whip. Heaven.
Mondays are usually a day of not too much excitement. The strawberry shortcake, however, definitely made my day better! So we all chatted on the couch with the usual CW Monday shows and some fresh dessert, a great start to what's surely to be an amazing week!
